In these revised guidelines, please note the following, in particular:
1. Full, clear guidelines on creating a syllabus are a main element of the Handbook. [Sect.2]
2. Rules & guidance around make-up tests have been clarified. [Sect. 7]
3. Your policy on penalties for late assignments must be in your syllabus. [Sect. 2.1 & 8.1]
4. The Faculty policy on deadlines for returning the minimum amount of marked work has changed in recent years. [Sect. 2.11]
5. The section on calibrating and explaining assignment marks has been entirely re-done. [Sect. 5.10-5.13]
6. The new marking guidelines are included as well as a detailed discussion of adjusting course marks. [Sect. 10.3, 10.5-10.9] & Appendix B]
7. The policy on documentation for legitimate absences or lateness has been clarified. [Sect. 7.3]
8. The requirement to re-read failing final exams has been clarified. [Sect. 9.10]
9. The protocols for changing your marking scheme are clarified. [Sect. 5.2]
10. Guidelines are provided regarding participation marks and requiring attendance. [Sect. 4.2]
