Title: Constructive Memory: False Pasts and Fictional Futures
Ebbinghaus Empire Series 2014-2015
VIDEO RECORDING OF TALK
Abstract: The past decade has seen great interest in the overlapping cognitive and neural correlates of remembering the past and imagining the future. While much focus has been placed on the role of memory in the process of imagination, it is becoming increasingly apparent that the interactions between memory and imagination are much more complex. In this talk, I will discuss some of our recent work that explores the ways in which imagination can influence both true and false memories.
